Yummy Homemade Sports Drink Pops Recipe
Sorry, I forgot to add this recipe with the other two posts related to "Homemade Vitamin Water" and "Homemade Sports Drinks"
These Yummy Homemade Frozen Sports Drink Pops were a HIT! |
I began to search for something refreshing. I find a couple of our favorite flavors of "homemade" Sports Drinks and Vitamin Waters. I also found sweet cherries, strawberries, blueberries, mango's and various other fruit in the freezer and refrigerator. (I love to freeze fresh fruit, cut-up because it always comes in handy). As I was saying, It strikes me then... why not make Popsicle out of these items? So I get to work. Thanks to my family eating everything else that day, we've added these to our "must have" frozen treats.
I couldn't believe how much my family and extended family love these. Anytime its hot outside or someone pops in after a workout, they stop to raid our freezer for these treats along with my other homemade treats. I find myself making more of the "Homemade Frozen Sports Drink Pops" year round because they just hit the spot after working out. I knew this was one of my recipes I'd have to share if I ever started a Blog. We hope you and yours enjoy these as much as we all have!

- Only remove a couple at a time from freezer.
- Begin removing the outer molds.
- You may need to hold briefly in your hands to remove the outer mold. Do not dunk in warm water as it will cause them to melt too fast.
If saving Popsicle's to eat for much later use; follow same instructions, however, place in an airtight Freezer container.
- If using Sticks and cups, you may remove cup, if you prefer.
- It's best to wrap each Popsicle with plastic wrap or waxed paper bags. Place in an airtight container and place back into the freezer until ready to eat.
